Just received a call from this number. Company is Home Advisors and the person that I spoke with told me that she calls whatever numbers her home office gives her. She knows nothing about a "Do Not Call" list.
I received several calls from this caller. When I called a recorder would ask me to leave a message. The last call said "It looks like we are palying phone tag". When I called I spoke to someone named Jennifer, saying they would provide me with leads and would only charge me $13.00 per lead and I could keep the name and info of the customer. However, they (the caller) would need the name and personal information of the principle of my company in order to do a back ground check prior to providing the leads. Sounds like a SCAM to me. Be careful....
Homevisors, say they are a subsidiary of Sears...they want to sell the leads to me for $65 each. They then sell each lead to 3 other contractors. There logic is that we will each get about 25% closure rate...everyone will be happy. I told them I would not pay them to be my competition.

I work for a construction company in South Florida and received a message on my answering service from someone by the name of Felicia Jones saying "I need some work done call me if you are interested." It sounded very suspicious - usually when customers call they leave a more detailed message. I Googled the phone number to find out it is from a landline in Kansas. Clearly some sort of SCAM!
