I've been getting calls from these people (WFNNB) from various numbers for someone who gave them this number (on a credit application, I assume) who obviously isn't me for about 5 months. They call at least once a day every day, and when I told them that I wasn't who they were looking for, they asked me if I had a number for the person they were trying to reach and I told them that I did not (of course) and I was told that they would keep calling until they reached whomever it was that they needed to speak to. This qualifies as harassment, correct? How do you make this stop, short of changing a phone number?
This number didnt call me directly... it called my landlord and was badgering him to give them my social security number and other personal information...
I've been getting this phone calls from this place for months 6+ time a day finally I found out who it was WFNNB (World Financial Network National Bank)in Kansas City, KS. Debit consolation I think. But the fact they're trying to get all your personal info from your landlord is outrageous!! I sure hope everything works out
Caller ID says WFNNB. I finally answered the phone, after 4-6 calls within a short period of time, not to mention all the calls throughout the day. They kept asking me for personal info and stated that I have made charges with Freedom Preferred Jewelry. I have no credit with this company and there is no company called Freedom Preferred Jewelry. WFNNB does supply credit for Speigal, Ann Taylor Online Store, Gordmans, and Victoria Secrets. There is no mention for Freedom Preferred Jewelry. I did not give them any info.

I receive 8-12 calls a day from WFCB. They finally left a message with this number 866-422-4470. I called it asks for the last 4 digits of my SSN, I twice punched in 4 random numbers & was directed to a rep. I told her that my tel number was assigned to me two months ago and I am being bombarded with calls for the person who had this number before me. She sounded sincere and said she would make a note & hopefully the calls will stop.
If you registered all your telephone numbers with the "NATIONAL DO NO CALL REGISTRY" (https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx), you can file a complaint with them. I am currently waiting to see what they can do. If enough people complain, maybe they'll do something.
