I've asked them many times to stop...

I have received multiple calls from this number on my cell phone but never answered....I did answer today however and the gentleman asked for my ex-husband...and I replied that he was not at this number and asked if I could ask who is calling----he hung up on me.
Kansas Fraternal Order of Police. Call at all hours 7 days a week. Have asked them to remove my # from their calling list. Will ask 1 more time then I will report them. Don't know if it's for real or not but they are not even in my area code. If I am going to donate, will donate locally. I don't care who they are, they should stop calling once asked!
Telemarketing is expensive. Even reputable charities, when the call for donation the company making the calls keeps about 70% of every donation. Charities with "Police" or "Sherrif" in the name are much worse. They typically keep 90-95% of every donation to cover fundraising expenses.
