these people are scamming you into thinking you are renewing a magazine which you are currently subscribed to, and they steal your money and they are not affiliated with any magazines, they are disguting low lifes....they can keep the 49.50 they stole from my 89 year old grandmother and buy themselves a life
Just to let you know, this phone number appears on fake renewal magazine subscription notices.
The company, Billing Subscriber Services, Readers Billing Service, Magazine Billing Services, (or any of a half dozen other fronts) somehow get lists of magazines YOU already have subscriptions to. They then send what appears to be a renewal notice, hoping that you will send in a check without reading the fine print, (if there is any.)
This scam, run by Gary Hutchings and Sean Edwards, sends out MILLIONS of these notices every year. There are hundreds of postings online of people that got taken, and never received their "new" subscription, or got something other than what they thought they were ordering.
