They called my place of employment and asked for an employment verification. I gave her the hotline to our company's employment verification. She was pleasant.
these people called asking for someone I have never heard of and when I asked what it was about they said they can't disclose that info.
Sounds like another unscrupulous company/practice! When you call the number it has a recording that basically says it is not reachable. Lets put an end to this kind of calling!!!
My wife received a call at her school, and the secretary put it through, because they gave the name of their company as something Solutions. My wife answered, and the woman immediately asked my wife for her Social Security number, because "they couldn't process the online loan application any further without that information." My wife of course told her that she had kn knowledge, and that she would have to call me about it. The woman on the other end started to get pushy, so my wife hung up on her! Since she was called at school, the same woman and company has just tried to call my home, and left a message about the same thing! I immediately blocked the number, and I am going to report this number to the F.T.C.! They are getting really bold with their spiels, especially assuming a loan was made online already, thinking that my wife might have "forgotten" that she had made a loan in the first place!
