An African scam artists calling on behalf of First American Cash Advance, used this phone number. He tried to bait me by saying the loan I applied for was approved. But I didn't apply for any damn loans.

"Leonard McCoy" with a thick accent claiming to be officer McCoy from the Department of Financial Crimes calling our employees.  SCAM!!!!

Oh good grief.. LOL!  You should have asked him to tell Scotty to beam you up or told the "Dr." to heal thyself..

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.
For extortion Scam Operations, file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..
