This number called my phone two times today and one text telling me to call the number back, they also left a message the Indian accent was so heavy hard to understand but he said his name was mr.brown calling from attourney generals off. and something about me oweing money and it was urgent that i call him back. Its gotta be a scam.
Received a call today stating it was from the Attorney Generals office - The number for them in that county is actually 914-422-8755 FYI. I was told that I had a loan taken out with American Cash Advance for an amount. Thy person claimed they were Mark Brown. Heavy accent from the middle East somewhere. Informed him that he was calling my husband's cell phone who is a first responder with the military and he started yelling at me that we needed to find new jobs because we would be in jail tomorrow. They were going to send court documents to my local court house in a town that he could not tell where it was and that the Sheriff would be coming to arrest me. This number is a total scam. Do not take them seriously.
