Called cellphone. Left no voicemail. Call from NY. I live in NJ. A legitimate caller will leave name, company name, valid call back number and brief message. Then I can decide to speak with them, or not at my convenience. If they hang up they are not legitimate, a telemarketer, a spoofed number, a scammer looking for personal information, a very unprofessional business person, etc. not interested. I screen all calls. Never pick up number I do not recognize.
I picked up, recorded voice said hello, how are you today. I'm calling about Solar... I hung up. Blocked the number. They called back using this number 609-513-5695. Same recorded voice for solar scam. that's blocked too.
Also got this call, just 2.5 hours after also getting a call from 781-530-7456. Suspect that one is a Solar Scam call, as well. The 781 I let go to ans. machine, just in case it was a Boston area doc. This one said "NEW ROCHELLE, NY." We know no one there; picked up/hung up w/o answering at the third ring to break the call. Hopeful that the Robodialer will record our number as 'not in service.'
