They claim to be from the American Gaming Association, says I won a prize. Will I claim it? Very obvious scam. Called repeatedly for days on end and it finally stopped. I've filed a complaint with the New York State Attorney General.
This number keeps calling me but does not leave a message. They call several times a day. How can I make this stop! I am not sure what they want because I do not answer calls I do not know but they are obviously harassing me by calling several times a day. Thanks for suggesting that I file a complaint with the NY state attorney general!
Caller ID indicated the call coming from Bedford, NY. This guy with a heavy accent identified himself as Sean from the shipping department at the "American Legion"? He was sorry about the delay with my shipment and when I asked for more information he was silent for few seconds and then repeated exactly the same thing without elaborating, wanting to know if he could ship it to my address. At this point I knew it was a scam, told him no and he hang up.
I keep receiving calls from this number. No message is left and they call daily. Can they be put on a no call list? This is really annoying. I will not answer calls from numbers that I do not recognize.
