Got a call from 914-339-9536. Listened to their BS about lowering mortgage balances and press 1 to take advantage of the deal. I pressed 1 to get to a live person and the guy answers "Porter Group." I asked him to take my number off of his list. He says he didn't call me. Says he was just sitting there, and out of the blue, his phone rings and I'm on the line. Do you suppose he's that dumb that he doesn't know he's hooked up to a dialer or is it part of the scam? How stupid are we supposed to be? Argued and argued with me. I finally hung up, slightly dumber than when I first answered the phone.
