This number calls my cellphone, mostly between 8 & 5, when I'm at work so I haven't spoken with anyone. However, THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE. Alarm right there. It's a SCANNER!!
Got a call from this number today from an Indian sounding man saying that they have recently been receiving reports from my Windows computer stating that they are getting a lot of reports saying that there are infected files on it. He wanted me to delete files off of my computer.
I also received a call, heavy Indian accent with a Bangalore dialect, from a male telling me my computer has been sending out reports that it has been downloading viruses or something else – it was hard to understand him. He did know my first name, but could have gotten it from any response sent via email i.e. a job opening etc,
These clowns called me yesterday too and when I called back it had a Verizon number that was not available, so it is spoofed,
DO NOT CONVERSE WITH THESE PEOPLE, HANG UP AND BLOCK THE NUMBER.
