I just got a call from someone who said his name was Steve Jones (although he had an Indian accent) claiming to be with the Service Department of Rescue Click (?not sure if I heard him correctly). He claimed that they’d been monitoring my updates and noticed that I’ve been having internet connection issues (I have not).
Once again, they knew the date of my contract with another company's tech support service.
Caller ID on my phone shows his number as 914-364-9117.
Steve Johnson with an Indian accent wants access to my computer "due to a security breach". Says he works for securedandsafe.com. Hung up when I informed him I worked for computer fraud division of my company.
