I got a call from them and they were asking me to make a payment on my overdue cable account. They got the name of the company right and said they were from the "sunrise credit bureau" bs!
This was from a collection for old cable debt. They called me but it was actually for a former tenant. The caller said he would remove my number from the list....we shall see...
this is from someone who works for sunrise credit for a Cablevision debt. The cough come between 8:05 AM and 8:55 PM. The calls always come from different numbers. I believe they even have people using their cell phones and if you stop answering they will block their number to get you to pick up. I sincerely doubt that is a legal thing to do.
I have received as many as four phone calls a day from sunrise credit.
I block every single one I identify. Idiot! I would certainly pay if I had the money but emergencies do happen.
