If they call you, just invoke your rights under the FDCPA. Inform them that as per your rights, you do not wish to deal with them as they are a third-party collector. Follow up by sending a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail, which will provide you with evidence should they contact you after receipt of that letter.

They called today looking for someone who is deceased. When I said I couldnt let the person know they called because they were deceased, the [***] said just give them the message and hung up. Anyone know the phone number for Heaven?
I keep getting recorded calls from several of these numbers (blocked the first; they just use others). They're for my son who doesn't live here. I hang up as soon as I can tell it's recorded. Never a message left.
