Called my cell. Made the mistake of picking up. Scam about having stayed at their resort in the past and they had a vacation offer...that's when I hung up
When a strange number calls and leaves no message it's likely a scammer. A real caller will leave a message. Best bet is to ignore (Don't call potential scam numbers back) and block.
Same here, missed call, no message. ID say NY and I don't know this number. So blocking yet another scammer.
I always check here before I block a number or call it a scammer. If no one else has been called by a number I assume it was a wrong number, hey it happens, we've all done it. But when 2 or 3 or 4 or more people get calls from the same number , no messages etc... Its a phisher looking to scam the person who answers.
