Who called from 9146275877

Someone with this number (out of state, NY) texted yesterday about a $40 Craigslist item. Because the item value was low, and because they asked specific details about it before going after any personal info, I thought it was legit. Now that I've refused a money order and asked for their location, it's been radio silence. I'm not 100% sure this is a scammer, but something doesn't smell right. Kind of bummed that I got suckered into emailing them directly, but oh well. (P.S. *IF* this turns out to be legitimate, I will update.)

Those were the exact same questions I was asked.

I just had someone text me about my craigslist add too. I felt it was weird from the start too with the questions they were asking and the fact that they wanted me to accept money order. I was like ummm no CASH only! I haven't heard back from them yet.

I just had this exact conversation! It has to be a scam, especially since I noted several times that I would only accept cash.

I had the exact same convo...then I turned it around on them stating they can send a money order to a local post office that they don't need my info, and what their address was so I can send them the item directly (a wedding dress in my case) and they insisted I don't need their info and that a seamstress would be picking up the item directly from me!? LOL all the way from NY to AZ?
Bottom line, I never emailed from my email, I attached pix of my item directly to them & said cash only or paypal only and never got a response.
SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
