Best chance is to reverse the situation give their number to all the solicitors you can find and let them get tons of scam and junk calls making their whole industry fighting with each other.
They call everyday for three years now. They said they would stop calling if I placed an order with them. I often fantasize about what types of torture methods I will use to pay them back if ever I find them.
These scumbags have been pestering me for a while now. I started telling them I'm working with the Police, recording this call, and that they can all expect to go to jail soon. It must have made a difference cause a manager called to yell at me (I replied with some unflattering comments about his mother). I don't get nearly as many calls as I used to from them but try telling the caller that their employer is going to jail and that they should be looking for other work. That seems to get to them.
I know this is too late, but I would have sued Verizon to force them to explain, in court, in excruciating detail, how they know the call was made by me and not someone else.
