got a call yesterday from this number. i am on the do not call list; the list does not block people from using your number, it simply tells legitimate businesses which numbers not to call. if someone selling something (supposedly) calls, i know automatically that they are not legit. called it back today, and got a surprise - it said "leave a message for" and then silence and then a beep. i left this message "take me off your call list" and hung up.
This is a little weird. got a call from number shown and an hour later from 915-282-4643. I redialed these numbers and this one had an answering machine/voice mail with no name. The other number said out of service. I was suspicious as the 2 numbers are so similar and within 1 hour. I think some of the scamers are able to access ANY phone number they want so blocking them does not help much in that case. But what else can we do. Blocking anyway. I have nearly 200 blocked numbers in 10 months. Seems like more. Blocked anyway.
Got a call from 915-282-4643 some time ago and googled it. Seems others are also reporting it as scam. They now call at all times with several different numbers but never leave a message. I never answer their calls. Now it is getting to the point of annoyance so finally going to report them. Thought they would have given up by now. I am on No Call Report but these scammers have gotten around that. Thanks for posting everyone!
