Called about 6:15 pm Wednsday December 14, 2011
Lot of noise, a land line in El Paso , Texas
Wanted contribution fro Highway Patrol officers killed on the job...
Told them I was calling the local police.....
Called local police and reported call.
Told by police they are legit telemarketers and there are 3 different companies doing the calls... for the Texas Highway Patrol Association.....
So, look to keep getting calls until you run down each of the telescammers and have your number removed from their call lists ......
Whut?
Yeap!
Business must REALLY be booming if they can afford to pay out 3X over, WITH each telemarketer taking the major cut of the take......
I received a call today from this number, the caller ID read "TX HWY PATROL". The guy asked for me by name when I said I couldn't talk due to laringitis he said he'd call back another day. Apparently it wasn't too important. When I did a reverse phone number lookup it came up with the names Irma Macias, Susana Macias, Victor Macias. Sounds suspious to me.
I have been getting these calls at all hours of t he day and night. The man who calls is very threatening, and trys to play poor pitiful me that an officer died and I shouldn't have a problem giving money to help the family. I asked to have my number removed from the list and he proceeded to ask me if I lived at, and then listed off my address. I gave him no info and asked nicely 3 times to remove my number from the list. Then he started to repeat my name and number. That is when I hung up. When I search on the number, it shows: M CLAYTON 915-595-3421 2150 Trawood Dr # A, El Paso, TX. THis person is pathetic. This should be illegal. If they need money, they should raise it locally, not calling people at all hours of the night.
