Received a call from 916-273-8397, CallerID showing only "SERVICE", which is a tipoff that it's a bogus call. Legitimate utilities will have their actual name in the CallerID. I blocked this call with my call blocker device and will add the area code and partial prefix to my block list.
I let the answering machine take this one; they left no message. Caller ID was SERVICE, a pretty clear indication that it was some kind of scam/telemarker call.

None. I receive 2-3 calls from this number each day. No one is on the line, although I hear sounds of a phone bank in the background, and then the caller hangs up. If I try to return the call I get a "Thank you and goodbye" message.
I never pick up an "Anonymous" caller but did so by accident just now. A man asked if I knew about some kind of energy initiative or some such thing. He knew my first name, which probably just means he had called previously and got it from my outgoing message (gotta change that!).
