Received a call from 916-292-5347, CallerID showing only "SSI". The Social Security Administration does not place uninitiated phone calls, especially 'after' business hours. Like the IRS, official communication from Social Security takes the form of a letter by First Class Mail to your address on record. Internet search turned up 'Survey Sampling International', which conducts surveys about timeshares.

Well, if you read your post, the Social Security Administration would be SSA. So, what exactly is SSI?
