A robo-call telling me I've been chosen for a free cruise, 3 days & 2 nights to the Bahamas, which amounts to 1 day in the Bahamas. Plus some time in Orlando and a rental car and other details. All I have to pay is the departure tax of $500- each person, minimum 2 people. I know all this because I wasted a lot of their time and mine up to the point they wanted my credit card number. Told him I will only give out my card number if I called them.
I get calls once or twice a week. same spiel -- "you recently stayed at one of our resorts...." I once waited for a semi-conscious person to pick up, told her I don't travel. She argued, I told her she was full of malarkey (sanitized version), and disconnected. I hope I did not hurt her feelings.
