Today i received a voice mail from a lisa davis (with a thick accent) from the dept. Of legal affairs stating that i was involved in a law suit?? I never returned her call. At the time i was talking to someone on the phone that is why the message went to voicemail
I just received a call very similar..i even called my local police station and they said it was a scam call, I would be very care full don't give out any of your information out to anyone..EVER!!!!!!
I got a call from them recently and I didn't answer so they left a message. I couldn't make out what the guy was saying because of his accent but what I did hear was him saying legal action was being taken against me and that I would get arrested. I'm only 18 and that freaked me out like what did I do to get a call like this, so of course I turned to the Internet for some help. Based off of my findings this is a scam.
I'll tell you why you got it. Because these crooks had the chance to leave a threatening message. Most of these calls are intended for whoever answers the call, or hears the message. Rarely will they even know who you are. It certainly is a scam and nothing to worry about. If you can stop them from leaving messages, you can add grief to their day. No kind of answer, impossible to leave threatening messages.
