They called about an hour ago, then hung up after the musical message (on My answer machine) began to play, followed by a female voice stating:
"Our representatives are currently servicing other callers.......please wait on the line; Your call is important to us!
You are caller number 32, and your approximate wait time is less than 96 minutes."
this is actually my phone number... apparently some overseas scam company spoofed my phone number to calls they made throughout the united states on thursday. I have had this number for many years and almost had to change it. Literally received 5000+ calls from people like yous trying to return a call that I never made.
I went to metro pcs twice that day and no help whatsoever. Filed a complaint with the fcc.
Sorry we all got victimized but please be clear that it was not me, but a company spoofing my phone number
Hi Nicole... That is my name and my phone number, but I didn't call anyone. My number was spoofed into a million caller ID's on that Thursday. Can you kindly remove my name from your post to protect my privacy, as I am a victim as well
I have filed a complaint about this on that Thursday with the FCC and my phone carrier.
