This is the 3rd time they have called in the past week. I think they know me. I got them angry with me again. I was told that "ALLAH WOULD LEAD THEM TO KILL ALL AMERICANS" . I understand that our government knows what country these calls originate from and who makes the calls but will not do anything due to political considerations. If our government chooses not to take action, then it must be time for all Americans to arm themselves.
Have gotten 2 - 3 calls per day. No messages. We click the talk button and quickly click the end button. They don't get my message which is stop calling.
He claimed he was an Info Serv rep calling to help me with a malicious file on Microsoft Word. He said I had an account with the company which I asked he repeat several times due to his strong Indian accent. He forcefully directed me to close all my files, press the windows key, followed by R. Then I asked for his phone # in case we were cut off which was (888) 882-3445. After I read on the internet that he may be a scammer, I said I would have to call back. I did not answer when he immediately called back from (917) 717-0247.
Receiving repeated calls from this number - they are computer scammers who sound by their accents are probably in India and are using the 917 number as bogus for cover. Message to law enforcement and telecoms companies: hunt down and prosecute the perpetrators, and shut down these call centres.
