This number called our business today at 1326 hours. I saw "New York NY" on the caller ID and knew it was a bogus call, likely somebody trying to give us a business "loan." I picked up the phone but said nothing. No one on the other end said anything and the call disconnected after a moment. For the heck of it, I blocked my caller info and called the number back. I was immediately assailed by some really crappy hold music. No company name or anything. Then the call disconnected by itself. Yeah, it was a legitimate call alright. Morons.

Morons tried again, this time yesterday at 1752 hours. Why would a company allegedly in New York call another business in the same time zone well after usual business hours? Our company gets calls from alleged New York numbers multiple times a week, and it's always the same idiocy of some unheard of person or "company" trying to give us a business loan. Other people have complained about many calls from this number with no one on the other end. So it's probably one idiot calling out of his basement or something similar.
