Caller ID was "New York, NY" in my case. The number looks phony, as well. I've seen several numbers on my phone that have been listed as a "police charity" scam lately, I'm convinced they're all scams.
Two of these useless scumbags called today. Both are blocked already. The 'actual' police need to knock down their doors and confiscate all their ill-gotten gains and equipment!
