Called requesting information about my company. When I asked from what organization they were calling from they hang up on me. Very weird. When I called the number back they would hang up time and time again. Don't trust any caller from this number or give them any information. Seems like some type of scam.
Received call; alleged they were the Chamber of Commerce updating their information. Asked if I was still the principal of my office (which I am) and whether I still had two employees (which I NEVER had--I always work alone).
Same as the other poster's here. When they called they had my full company name and address. When I asked who they were, they responded Chamber of Commerce. I'm a b2b. I explained that I do not deal with the general public and I only deal with other businesses and had no need to be listed with the chamber. She continued to ask if I had 17 employees (I dont). I said "that's not correct and I'm not allowed to give that info out", and promptly hung up.
Calling back leads to the call ending as if they hung up.
