Another criminal company trying to scare me into giving them money. This has been happening to me for months now. When they don't get any money, I believe they sell my information to someone else that tries the same thing, but changes the companies name. They say I have 2 complaints against me and that they are going to file papers in court. I took the last call and I told her to hang on a minute so I could record the call to turn them into the Attorney Generals Office and she said she could not allow me to record the call. She started to get upset with me and said I could call the legal department at 877-708-7449 and gave me a case #. A few minutes later she tried to call my cell phone, but I had already put a block on the number. She left a voicemail saying that I had given up my right to handle this dispute and they will be taking me to court. She then gave me the legal department # of 877-703-7449 and a different case #. Hmmmmmm why did the phone number and the case number change in a matter of a few minutes. I doubt they will call me again, but I have the feeling a new company will start calling me soon. She said the Company name was United Restitution Group. But would not give me the address. I tried to look up that company name online, but only Scam alerts come up.
I wish these people would crawl back under their rocks and leave everyone alone.....urgh Please do not fall for this scam. Tell them you are going to record the call for you lawyer or Attorney General or for the FTC. They will quickly get off the phone with you. Also, please warn family members and friends not to fall for this. They prey on people that don't know what to do or say. Don't be a victim!

I got a call saying I took out a payday loan back in 2011 for 350.00 and now I owed 1097.00 and if I didn't pay a sheriff would come to my work. To these people even know the law. A sheriff isn't going to come to my work without me having notice first. Just a day before I got a call from and 1-888 number. I questioned her on the company, Bell Corporation out of Las Vegas, I demanded and phone number and then she hung up on me. I called the number she gave me and it was a number that said, Congratulations, you've won a 100 gift card"! I called her back and she said that's the number she had, I said, "that explains it" and she hung up on me. Someone needs to do something about these people. Of course, I'm not gonna fall prey to these scum bags, but some do!!
