Said he was home security.Asked how he got my number.Said he used a national database. Then asked me if I had security.Told him.Now let me see I am going to tell a total stranger over the phone that I have security or not.He said have a nice day and hung up.
SHILL ALERT--The closest anyone can get is location OF SWITCH, in this case is TULSOKIMDS0 located at 4500 S 129th E. Ave in Tulsa. So thanks for giving away your location and the fact that you are shill for "home security" scam calls.
Whitepages.com has already identified this number as one that calls on behalf of another charity, possibly National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund which supports families of fallen law enforcement officers.
Problem is that real, honest charities that have current standing with IRS for tax deductible donations don't have resources to make cold calls. If someone is calling on behalf of a charity, generally they have their own profit motive, meaning very little if any collected goes to the named charity.
Bottom line as mentioned in many other 800notes blogs, don't answer calls you don't recognize (this one uses CNAM of "Unknown"). And if you do answer a phone to someone representing a charity, hang up immediately. Give only to those charities you check out and support.
