Jerry, that makes no sense. If someone spoofs the number and name, THEY are the criminal, but--based on your sage advice--the called party should answer the call? Wrong. Let them leave a message (if they ever do) and then you and others can readily block them from existence.
Just got a call, I answered, but did not say anything, and neither did they. They (someone ) hung up at about 30 seconds. I just make it sometimes a little " waiting game" ✨
Received ANOTHER call from this number, Thursday July 20 at 2:52 pm EDT. Called the number back from a blocked number and it's something related to AETNA Insurance. Not Interested.
