The same thing is happening to me. They call and ask specifically for me, and when I acknowledge that it is me, they say they want me to verify it is me by me giving them an old address of mine. When I say I no longer live there, they say "Well, it is just for verification that it is you." I told them, It is me. This is who you are looking for, they insist that I must provide the address they are seeking. I refused and told them if we wanted to move forward with the call, they would need to tell me what the nature of the call is. They rudely refused, said have a nice day and hung up. I don't know what they are calling for.
I receive calls from this number several times a week. Caller ID says UNKNOWN. If I pick up or if my answering machine picks up, they hang up on me.
I called this number back this morning. Someone named Miguel answered the phone as "Credit Management Systems". He said he was looking for someone named Ivy. I told him I do not know this person and he is to take my number off his list.
They call several times a week.... I can't get any info on who they are .... said they would take me to court and I told them that I would meet them there
Got a call trying to collect a debt... Hung up but they called again 3 times. WE have no outstanding debt and this is my phone not my husbands and he has a common name... Unbelievable...
