Auto call says debt collector but gives no name.

Auto call says debt collector, but gives no name in the message.

Received a call from a Contessa Johnson from this number about some kind of debt but leaves no name. I believe it is a scam number.

Caller says she is calling on behalf of NSC looking for a friend who wrote my name down as a reference. I question what NCS is and they say the angcey they work for. I proceed to tell him if they can't provide more information than I would not provide my friend number or give her the callers contact information. Sounds like a scam-but how did they get my number?!
