We have received repeated calls for several days now. No message is left and when you answer they hang up. I am on the do not call list, so I'm quite irritated.
They called 4 times in 3 days-rings 4 times then hangs up. Tried calling back, busy signal first time, kept ringing second time. I have been on the do not call list ever since I got my phone, but some people think they don't have to pay attention to it.
update---Just called 919-631-0769 (THANK YOU, KT) and talked to Phil and he said the calls would stop. Cost him a cell phone call-GOOD! If everyone calls his cell phone and costs him for the call, maybe they will stop!
I emailed the guy also....his response to me is below.
We have placed your number on our in-house do not call list. Our calls do not violate the law. We are not selling anything, or soliciting a donation. Sorry we inconvenienced you.
Can anyone tell me, but my understanding of DO NOT CALL....is you cannot call regardless of whether you are selling or soliciting. In my business we have to verify all numbers on DO NOT CALL registry before we call for any reason.
This appears to be a group trying to seed churches around the country. I truly have no time for this.
Same problem as all of you above - seriously what is the point of calling and hanging up - it doesn't serve any purpose other then to annoy all of us who have posted here (and all who haven't)- Thank you very much for the input about how to get him to stop calling us!! (we are on our 5th call in the past 3 days and we are on the national do not call list) we left Phil Spry a voice mail - if it doesn't work I will keep calling until I annoy the crap out of him - I suggest we all do the same, give him a taste of his own medicine.
