Just got a call from 919-701-3065. Man asked for Robin & of course that is me...then he hung up. Said on my TV that this call came from Benson, NC. Did not recognize so I try to call back but it does not ring but it makes a sound like someone is on the line but no one says anything.
Paid marketers purportedly raising money for Trooper's Association. Surely the wonderful State Troopers would have nothing to do with this; sounds like a big scam, and they refuse to take me off their call list as I have REPEATEDLY asked them to do
# came up on my TV screen as Benson, NC -- I answered after 2nd ring -- no one spoke from other end but after me saying "hello" 3 x they clicked off - hung up before I could wish them a Merry Christmas. (as if I would -- groan) -- we have an unlisted phone # but still get calls like this.
