Spam. Solar company. I called the number back got recording "leave your name, number and amount of your electric bill and someone will call you back". Didn't say what company.
Go Green Education.They call several times a week from different phone numbers. I have blocked 2 numbers already but they continue to use a different number so the call comes through again. I never answer.
I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago caller id as Go Green Education. Did a websearch on "go green education" and 800notes and found 39 different phone numbers reported here being used by this scammer. I reported it to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints along with a partial list of the other phone numbers Go Green Education has used. I gave credit to this website for the wealth of information I was able to collect.
Received a call this afternoon from "Cindy" at "Go Green Education" - kept her talking before I gave her any info and looked her "company" up on the internet. Yep, they've got a website... it's conveniently missing a lot of info though. No location, no contact, no real phone number.
Claim that they aren't selling anything but want to set up an appointment for an energy review of your home. Of course this would be a tried-and-true method for collecting potential sales calls for any company - so not selling? I don't think so. Told her I already have solar and am tired of getting calls 2-3 times per week.
Will report it to the FCC, Better Business Bureau and CA Attorney General's office.
