Caller I D said out of area....no message

Voice asked "Is this [my name]?" I said yes, they hung up. I called back--"This number is disconnected." I'm concerned this may be an example of recording "Yes" for some nefarious purpose.

Called @12:49pm PDT. Did not answer. No message. CID=Unknown name

Not a working number.

(925) 248-1218 called.  They did not leave any voice message.  I think this is a “junk” call because the caller ID shows a city name.  They will be blocked.
