Can anyone do anything about this? They keep calling here saying they are Microsoft and they want me to get into my computer while they are on the phone b/c they "have gotten error report about infections that can harm the computer." It is an Indian guy and gave his name as John Sebastian. He gave a call back number as 925-263-6898. He has called at least five different times. How can we get these scammers in trouble with the law? So tired of people trying to scam!!!!!
Answered - no one there. A few minutes later call from 917-200-9422 called. This was a spam call. Said he was from Microsoft and needed to check my computer. Told him my number was on do no call list and not to call anymore. He hung up. Will report both numbers to do not call list and block them from my phone.
Had a call a few days ago, when I answered no one said anything. When I called it back, said my call could not be completed as dialed. They called today and said the were Microsoft and that my computer had been hacked. They wanted me to but anti hacking tool kit for my computer.
Yes, each day consistently I get called by this number. Why I checked to see if other people experience same which is a solid yes. So will block this number going forward.
Just got a call from a John Sabation 925-263-6761 he said he was from Microsoft and had to check my computer. I asked him for his phone number 925--263-6869. Told him I have to call the BBBureau.....he said I have a cirus
