THIS # CALLS ME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.. NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE. WHEN I ANSWER SOMEONE WITH BAD ACCENT NOT EVEN IN THIS COUNTRY BABBLES SOMETHING I CANT UNDERSTAND THEN HANGS UP.. WTF. OUT OF CONTROL
This seems like a recruiter for a job or school may have sold or exchanged our phone numbers, to this "business" that continually calls. I just submitted a resume for a recruiting agency and within 5 minutes got a call from this spam number....suspicious! If anyone has submitted something similar and received a call from the number right away, please post! I'd love to make the correlation who is giving out our phone numbers, to prevent this nuisance from happening to others.
I just had the same thing happen to me after trying to apply for a job via Beyond.com. This is why I hate having to give out my number, because you never know who it will be sold to!
Got the call immediately after filling out a job app online. Probably rip off school scams; it's been my experience that phantom calls show up after filling out job apps on fob sites such as "Career Builder" and "Indeed" if you are not careful to uncheck all the boxes that are automatically checked when you apply. I don't answer any calls I don't recognize; if it is a legitimate job offer, they will leave a message. If it's outside the area code for which you are applying, it's probably spam.
