They called and left a voice mail at 7:33am that was very rude, and hard to understand through their thick Indian accent. he said he was an attorney and that if I did not return his call immediately, that all he could say was "good luck". He took my phone number, then recited the last 4 digits of my social security number, and a bank account that I had closed over 2 years ago. He stated I had a defaulted payday loan for 350 dollars from "Instant Cash USA" and that I was being sued for 795.12. He stated that my Father and my Wifes Ex husband were also being sued since they were "Co-Signers" on the payday loan... He refused an address, and stated "You will pay the judge". He stated he was with the "Department of Justice, McGougan's division". This is obviously an attempt at extortion.
The call comes in as "restricted", but the number they had me call back is 925-309-6198. the number is provided by Time warner cable out of Danville, CA.

I emailed customer service at Instant Cash USA, and they stated they had received hundreds of calls complaining about the same thing.
They verified I had NEVER had a cash loan with them at any time and advised me to file a police report.
Received a voice message that caller had left on the voicemail of the human resources deparment of the company that I work for. The man had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand much of anything, including the name he gave. I was able to make out something about debt and an attorney and if I didn't call them back, I quote, "will have to face the consequences. I hope you make the right decision."
I called back the number given, after listening three times to understand. I was unable to understand the person who answered the phone (which sounded like the person who left the message), refused to give me a name, and when I asked for the name of the company they wouldn't tell me. I stated that I did not appreciate getting scam phone calls from this number and they hung up on me.
