Caller ID is simply "California Call". I answered and said "hello", after a pause with a few crackly noises, a gruff male voice simply said my name. I said "hello" again and he hung up, apparently not liking my response. I've read elsewhere that it's a solar company drumming up business. If so, it's a cold call with no research because I already have a solar plant. In any case, hiding behind a generic caller ID and being rude earned this number a place in my blocked call list.
Called on 5/8 at 5:56PM, Calif. Call ID, no msg. Just got another, 5/13 at 11:18AM, call from 925-439-8548 with Calif Call ID, no msg. More calls from a telemarketer, scam, or the same dirt bag solar company that called almost every week from L.A. for the past year, A-1 Solar. National Renewable Energy Ctr. I'll bet it is the same outfit with a new set of phone numbers.
Caller ID read Pittsburg, Ca, but this call is a spoofed call. Didnt answer but on prior occasions some idiot asked for me
by name saying he was referred by PG&E to sell solar equipment. I terminated the call. If you can't even be honest about where you are calling from, how would a clear thinking person deal with an idiot?
