925/452-7718 : A young woman asked for the owner. I asked for her name and the name of her company. She said her name was Monica and her company is GLF, then she politely urged me to get the owner on the phone. I asked her what the nature of her company business is. She replied Google listing. I said (in a very upbeat tone) "Wow! We get sometimes 10 or 12 robo calls about our google listing in a day, but I have never had a live person call!". She kind of stammered. I nicely asked her in a friendly way if she was aware that she is working for a scam company that rips people off. It sounded like she hung up, so I said in a happy voice, "Oh, I guess this is where she hangs up on me". To my surprise, she came back on the line. I told her in a nice voice that I have working in telemarketing, but it was for a legitimate purpose, not for a company that scams people. I asked her how she could knowingly help her company rip people off. She mumbled that she would put me on the do not call list. I felt sorry for her. She sounded very young.
Annoyingly, they call up to 3x per day, and either hang up on me when I answer the corporate phone, or ask for the owner and THEN hang up on me when I say he isn't in. When you call the number back to get on a do not call list, it says it's disconnected.
Sounded like the speaker had a mouth full of food while talking. Kept insisting on talking to the owner, Finally got him to say who he was and that he was calling for GLF. Asked him what GLF was he said they were google representatives that google wanted.... I just said ya you and 300 other people are google representatives he said no now wait I hung up. Listed them as a google scam.
