Received a text, purporting to come from Frontier Communications, giving me an access code to punch in. I have no idea if this is a scam or not. I do know that Frontier bought Verizon/FIOS and their landlines, but I have none of those. Trying to force an account on me, a version of the old long-distance carrier "slamming" scam maybe?
Well, I got a phone call from (925) 690-1027 (Caller ID Clayton CA) at 4:00am this morning. Yes, some idiot called at 4:00am! There was no message left on voicemail. Based upon earlier comments, this might be a call to give me an access code. Well, I didn't request an access code at 4:00am. If it is indeed Frontier, they are keeping up their reputation of being totally incompetent IDIOTS.
