Called my cell at 12:06 PM didn't answer due to strange unknown number; same number called home number at 12:34 PM, and I immediately checked 800 Notes. Solar "Telemarketers" call using alternating numbers repeatedly. Blocking numbers won't work as they have thousands of numbers to get around the blocked numbers. I was told if you pick up - don't say anything then hang up, the robot-dialer will think it is a non-working number and eventually (for that telemarketer) think it has reached non-working number. If you have Xfinity voice, they have a feature you can set up that will recognize a robocall and it will ring once and then disconnect the call. If the call goes to your voicemail or answering machine and it hears a voice, it will consider it a working number and it will call back later. So, answer it and hang up, might be an option. Check it out on the internet. Don't stay on the line, just answer, hang up immediately/disconnect the call. Don't say a word. Also, if you ever answer the phone - don't ever answer "yes" to a telemarketer. I hear they can record your voice and can use that in some way to identify you or say you ordered their services. Here is a recording of your ordering our services: "Michelle, you have ordered 10 "Sleep like a baby pillows" for $39.95 plus shipping and handling of $9.95 each, is that correct? "Yes". For a total of $499, is that correct? "Yes." I don't know if this is really true, but I have heard this several times. Good Luck.
I received a call this morning (3/27/15) with CID reading "XXXXXXXXXX CA. I thought long and hard before picking up. The woman who answered was pleasant, but sounded inexperienced. She said that she was calling from Precision Group, a contractor. The company would be in my area on Monday, 3/30, and would give me a free inspection for doing needed work on our home. I declined the offer, and she wished me a nice day. When I checked my call log, the phone number that showed up was 925-811-9735.
