Fake survey leading to a marketing scam for fake free Bahamas cruise.
Green Studies Survey - has yet another spoofed phone number to harass us from.
(They have called multiple times before from other numbers with the same pitch. They change numbers to dodge call blockers.)
Robo-voice told me I had been selected to participate in a brief survey - and then I would receive a free cruise to the Bahamas.
This and similar outfits have been running this scam for years.
When the FTC shuts them down, they reappear with a new name and phone number.
The survey is bogus, and just an attempt to get around the DNC rules.
The trip is virtually bogus - if you were to actually get a cruise it would be after months of frustration and repeated fees and upgrades. More likely, you would incur a bunch of up-front costs and never get a cruise or refund.
