Got on the line with someone who asked for my name. I said I wasn't prepared to give out my information, but that I'd be willing to listen to his pitch. He hung up immediately without saying goodbye.
I just thought, what if I google this phn # that makes annoying calls & found your note. I'm a receptionist & this caller is wasting other companies's time.
They claim that if your cell number is listed on a business card or on any business correspondence, then it is a business number and exempt from the do not call list. They also claim that if you call them they will remove your name/number from their call list, and/or add it to their internal do not call list.
