Phone rang FOUR times before my phone goes to message machine. No one on other end of an OPEN line.
I re-dialed the number that appeared on my ID box. Automatic voice immediately kicks in: "if you want to be placed on a "do not call" list for this number, press 1." Nothing of the caller is identified.
An on-line search of this number ID's origin as PAGE, ARIZONA
I just got this call again. I get it a few times a week. Just like Sunflower said, it's a "warranty" company claiming they have the authority from where I bought my car to offer me an extended warranty. Total scammers.
Just rec'd call again from 928-212-8490 and phone displayed SPAM0105. As I have that number identified as SPAM I let it go to VM. When I got my IPhone I created a Contact called "SPAM Calls" with ringtone set to "Bamboo". When calls from numbers listed under this contact come in ring tone is set for 'Quick' Vibration' and I let it go to VM. Msg tells the call to leave msg of who tried to call or number will be set as "SPAM" number.
This number is now SPAM0105 as that number is 105th that is listed under "SPAM CALLS" contacts.
When the Caller ID only states a "STATE" or Unknown or City - SCAM - Real People / Real Companies IDENTIFY themselves - not always but usually - the "key" is seeing if the number is linked to someone and NOT a STATE - No message left - calls several times - BLOCK IT
"Mark Morrison with the Fraternal Order of Police, how are you today?" recording. It DOES recognise when you say "no english" in foreign languages though! Hope his crotch burns!
