I got a "cell phone" call from these people. I waited and dialed 1 to speak to the people to tell them to take me off their list. The guy told me they weren't selling anything, but it finally turned out that they had already been paid to solicit funds from others. Dishonest.
A recording offering to set up free in-home energy audit to qualify for free federal, state, and local stimulus money. A scam, and an old one at that. I did as they offered and hit #3 to be removed from their contact list. They call again and I can take them to small claims court for $500, they call a third or more time and it goes up to $1500 each time they call. Might just be worth the time to go after these jerks.
