Received 2 calls, one at 10:18am and another at 7:19pm. Answered the 7pm call. Healthcare scam- he said he was my healthcare representative from Medicare/Medicaid and that he has a report that I sometimes suffer from back and knee pain. I asked where he received this information, he said from Medicare. I do not have Medicare nor ever have, and when I pressed the question further he just said "good bye" and then hung up. Do not answer this number.

Caller said he had info from Medicare that I was suffering with back and knee pain. He said I had filled out a servay. ( I don't think I did, and Medicare would have no reason to have this info.) He kept stressing that it would be no money out of my pocket. I asked how he planned to do this and he asked for my Medicare#. If he found me through Medicare, wouldn't they have my # ?
The Back Brace Scam:
This a scam that costs everyone. If you give your OK and your Medicare Policy info, you are being used as a conduit for criminals who file a claim for "medical equipment" that you do not need. You may not even get a back-brace sent to you. The scammers will take what money they can get from Medicare directly, and if they can, they will repeat weeks, months later. All the crooks care about is how they can fool the system and not get caught. Here is a link from AARP that might be helpful.

The callers probably have minimum info about your health and your medicare policy. You are called because of your age only.
Do NOT talk to these crooks. Hang up and block the calls. They are also are implicated in the scam where you are tricked into saying "Yes" on a recording made over the phone. This "yes" can be used to sign you up for more frauds.
