Said this call was from the US Treasury and I should call them back or have my attorney call them back because it relates to Legal Action taken against me. He said he looked forward to hearing from me and I should have a blessed day. He had a very thick Indian/foreign accent and I could barely understand him. When I attempted to call the phone number back - I received a busy signal.
I received a threatening message that this is a legal matter and that I need to let my attorney contact them so I called them to ask what this was in reference to I spoke with a foreign man that told me that my taxes for 2013 was filed incorrectly and that I need my attorney to to contact him so I told him to send this information to me in writing than asked me who I filed those taxes with and said bye. I NO this is a scam and people beware I called IRS they had No idea what I was talking about...
Received a call from a mr. Leroy Roberts of the us treasury department legal department instructing me to return his call and have my attorney with me, I didn't answer cause I had no idea what he was talking about. Mr. Roberts had an Indian accent. Said call was reported to the treasury dept.
I received the same call and had the same conversation with Leroy this morning. He was very pushy and told me to call a number for more information and it was the same number that came up on the caller id. I didn't call it back.
